Product Marketing Manager/Product Line Manager

Job Requirements
  • Recent or upcoming MBA (Between December 2006 and June 2008), with an undergraduate in EE, CE, and/or CS (preferred)
  • Understanding of Network Communications Model and Products Development Cycle
  • Negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Knowledge of SoC and/or System Software/Firmware design flow and methodology
  • Some experience with Bluetooth or other wireless technology (highly desirable)
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, including MS Project, Visio, and Outlook
  • Ability to travel up to 25% both internationally and domestically
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, including active listening skills
  • Team player and visible leadership skills
  • U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident/H-1B/F-1 encouraged to apply

Job Description
This individual will become an integral part of Broadcom's Marketing organization. Includes the following (additional duties may be assigned):

  • Gather requirements, review and propose change to improve overall programs management process
  • Work with PLM to generate product requirements
  • Internal development and/or customer programs management
  • Drive communication and cross-functional collaboration (IC design, Firmware/Software, Application, RF, System)
  • Apply technical processes to solve complex problems
  • Lead the resolution of any technical or project related issues
  • Develop project plans aligned with the development teams and ensure timely execution
  • Monitor and track the development of all core/subsystem deliveries
  • Communicate status to key stakeholders and ensure appropriate risk mitigation actions during the course of the project
  • Work closely with lead customer and manage expectations with clear communication
